Accomplishments

Paris Summer Innovation Fellowship
The Paris Summer Innovation Fellowship was a two-week immersive program focused on empowering city problem-solvers: data scientists, DIY urban designers and open street mappers. In 2016 I was one of the 20 fellows selected worldwide. I developed the project: Optimizing restaurant health inspections through advanced analytics.
PhD Scholarship Fellow
The National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT) is Mexico’s entity in charge of the promotion of scientific and technological activities. Campus France is the French national agency for the promotion of higher education, international student services, and international mobility. In 2015 I was awarded a full scholarship for my PhD degree at Télécom ParisTech.
GE Edison Cornerstone Program
The Engineering Development Program - Cornerstone includes two to three assignments in related areas. The rotation assignments are intended to provide a broad exposure to the engineering field leading to successful off Program placement. Program membership also requires continuous education through advanced studies and in-house courses and workshops.
Monbukagakusho Scholarship Fellow
The Monbukagakusho Scholarship is a scholarship offered by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Monbu-kagaku-shō). In 2007 I was awarded a full scholarship for my Master’s degree at the Tokyo Institue of Technology. My scholarship type was ‘Embassy Recommendation’, 11 scholarships of this type were issued out of 600 applications in 2007 by the Japanese Embassy in Mexico.
